New Addition Coming to Downtown Austin Skyline

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Rogers-O’Brien has been selected to build a new 17-story apartment tower in downtown Austin to be located at Third and Brazos streets. This high-rise apartment tower will encompass more than 282,000 SF and will include 268 multi-family units, 10,000 SF of ground-floor commercial space, 6,000 SF restaurant, 5 floors of above-ground parking and 11-floors for residential occupancy. The structure will be a cast-in-place concrete structure with a combination of brick, stone and glass facade, and will feature a number of upscale amenities such as an expansive pool and deck, fitness center, business center, coffee bar and lounge. Design is still underway and construction has already begun with a scheduled duration of 18 months. The grand opening is anticipated in early 2013.
