Rogers-O'Brien is expanding existing emergency department services into an additional emergency department suite. Simultaneously, minor renovations are planned for the existing emergency department to maintain all required clinical support spaces. Additional support spaces will be integrated as needed to enhance the overall functionality of the emergency department. 

Site improvements include the installation of a detached canopy to facilitate pedestrian and ambulance access to Level 01 building access points, including exits, a decontamination shower, and a new ambulance entry vestibule. Site improvements also involve re-routing the electrical duct bank and storm and water lines. 

The project is expected to be completed in spring of 2025.
