COSM at Grandscape

The Colony, TEXAS

Architect: HKS

Owner: COSM

Rogers-O'Brien recently completed COSM at Grandscape, an innovative immersive entertainment venue in The Colony, Texas. Designed by HKS and owned by COSM, this 78,000 SF, three-story facility will be a leader in experiential media and technology.

The venue features an 87-foot diameter LED dome, an immersive hall, an outdoor deck, and CX System software. It hosts a range of programming, including art exhibitions, live sports, and entertainment events. As COSM’s second public location, it offers unique “shared reality” experiences, including NBA games and UFC events, alongside dining, bars, and gathering spaces.

Beyond the venue itself being revolutionary, the project team utilized 3D models as the blueprint to accelerate construction by reducing rework and enhancing collaboration. This innovative approach allowed for precise execution with the integration of robotics and automated systems.

COSM at Grandscape is set to redefine immersive entertainment with its cutting-edge technology and dynamic programming.
